Lots people frequently comment that they find the online poker game hard to master. The game of Texas holdem in particular presents some great challenges. I have lost count of how many times I have read that a certain poker site is rigged, unfair or other such comments doubting the honesty of online poker.
Despite the fact that I understand what a “bad beat” or “losing streak” feels like. I’m pretty sure that 85% of the operating online poker sites abide by strict gaming rules and licensing requirements.
The truth is that a large majority of poker players often forget the significance of understanding the bigger picture when it comes to playing poker.
There are numerous factors to consider when deciding on your plan for success. To begin with what type of game are you entering?
A cash game, a sit and go, a tournament, heads up one on one, double up, bounty or one of the other various Texas holdem game variants.
What limit are you playing? Fixed, Pot limit or no limit?
Who are you playing? Are they strong or easy players, aggressive or passive, methodical or wild?

Human judgement is just as important as a formulaic approach. A robot can’t see how a player bets, when they decide to go all in with nothing to bluff you off the pot, nor do they read the player chat when someone says “I’m all in next hand, I have to go to bed”. Now we do not all have that luxury. The truth is they charge a lot of money for their services. I mean a lot, sometimes thousands a day.
